Poliform 2026: walk-in closets, kitchens, wall systems and the new Savoy sofa — what it actually costs
Poliform is the only major Brianza factory that sells a whole apartment rather than a single sofa: walk-in closets, wall systems, Varenna kitchens, bedrooms and upholstery under one name. I already covered the Bristol, Saint-Germain and Brera sofas in my comparison of Minotti, Poliform, Flexform and Baxter — this piece is different: the new 2026 collection, and what Poliform actually makes its money on, closet systems, kitchens and wall systems, priced from the 2026 factory list and converted to a direct-purchase price.
Oleg Kuldoshin, founder of Mebeltour. I have been buying directly from Italian factories since 2010, and I live and work in Pineto, Abruzzo.
Why Poliform sells an apartment, not a sofa
The factory was founded in 1970 in Inverigo, near Como, by Alberto and Aldo Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani, who turned a family workshop dating back to 1942 into industrial production. Poliform is the only one of the four Brianza upholstery factories — Minotti, Poliform, Flexform, Baxter — that also builds walk-in closets, wall systems and Varenna kitchens alongside sofas. That is where Poliform earns its place: not in a single living room, but across a whole apartment built in one visual language, down to the same aluminium profile on a sofa, a wardrobe, a kitchen island and a bookshelf.
Every price below comes from the factory’s 2026 price list (Listino Italia, Italian VAT included). For clients outside Italy the factory quotes without Italian VAT, and I apply a 40% discount on top of that — that is exactly how the “Direct” column in every table below is calculated.
Savoy: the new 2026 sofa, without a single visible seam
Savoy by Jean-Marie Massaud is Poliform’s headline launch for 2026: a modular sofa engineered with no visible joints between sections, so a configuration reads as one continuous volume rather than a row of docked modules. Backrests and seat cushions are variable-density polyurethane, covers are removable in fabric or leather, and a polyester-fibre filling version is also available.
| Model | Upholstery | List price ex VAT, € | Direct, € |
|---|---|---|---|
| Armchair, 125 cm | fabric B-C-D | 4,675 | 2,805 |
| Armchair, 125 cm | fabric M | 5,560 | 3,335 |
| Armchair, 125 cm | leather P | 5,635 | 3,380 |
| Armchair, 125 cm | leather W | 7,745 | 4,645 |
| 4-seat sofa, 446 cm | fabric B-C-D | 13,230 | 7,940 |
| 4-seat sofa, 446 cm | fabric M | 16,130 | 9,680 |
| 4-seat sofa, 446 cm | leather P | 16,335 | 9,800 |
| 4-seat sofa, 446 cm | leather W | 23,270 | 13,960 |
33.5 cm is the standard seat-cushion height on Savoy measured above the base, which is why the sofa reads lower and wider than the factory’s classic models. The spread between fabric B-C-D and leather W is close to double — wider than on the same factory’s Bristol sofa, where leather typically adds about a third over fabric.
Shore: the new 2026 outdoor collection

Shore is the season’s second launch: Poliform’s first full outdoor line from Massaud. The frame is aluminium, the backrest and armrests are woven rope over an aluminium ring, and the legs are height-adjustable solid teak. The seat filling is recycled PET polyester with drainage zones of varying density, and covers are removable and water-repellent.
| Element | List price ex VAT, € | Direct, € |
|---|---|---|
| Armchair/terminal module SHORE1, 126 cm | 4,550–4,920 | 2,730–2,950 |
| Fixed armrest SBRACC1 | 1,225 | 735 |
The spread on SHORE1 comes from outdoor fabric categories, not size — the module itself is always 126 cm wide. Poliform prices the armrest as a separate line item, the same logic I flagged for the Bristol sofa’s back cushions in the factory comparison: always price the full composition from the list, never a single element’s headline price.
Senzafine walk-in closets: how the price is actually built
A Poliform Senzafine closet is not a wardrobe with a price tag — it’s a kit. Side panels, back panel, base, top, hanging rail and door fronts are each priced as separate lines, and the opening type — hinged (battente), sliding (scorrevole) or flush-to-wall (complanare) — changes the price of every component. That is why Senzafine has no single “wardrobe from €X” figure: the final price is always built for a specific configuration.
The Senzafine price trap. For flush-to-wall (complanare) doors, the door-front price does not include the track: the custom-length rail (code SUP22) is sold separately at €415 ex VAT per column (€250 direct). On a four- or five-column closet that is not a rounding error — it is a separate line in the quote that gets forgotten while choosing door finishes.
In practice: any render in the catalogue is fine to look at, but only a full specification — fronts, side panels and rails included — gives a real number. I price it from the factory list rather than a per-metre “from” figure, which cannot honestly be given given how many variables are involved.
Varenna kitchens: Phoenix, the factory’s flagship since 2014

Poliform’s kitchens are sold under the Varenna brand, and the flagship model is Phoenix, developed in-house by the factory’s own R&D department back in 2014 and regularly updated with new materials. Phoenix features open Slot display niches in bronze metallic lacquer, a table-height Blade snack bar and dining table in solid canaletto walnut, and worktops ranging from polished calacatta oro marble to travertine.
I don’t yet have a line-item price list for Poliform’s kitchens (Varenna): unlike sofas, closets and wall systems, a kitchen is always priced against an individual layout — floor plan, appliances and stone type move the budget more than in any other category at this factory. That’s material for a dedicated article once I have a factory quote against a real project.
Wall System: the shelving unit that became a category
Wall System is Poliform’s signature wall shelving system, developed in-house by the factory’s own R&D department rather than a named designer. The 2026 update adds new structural elements and new front finishes. The system is built from modules: a load-bearing frame, backs (melamine, fabric or glass), shelves, integrated lighting and glass panels — the last priced by glass type and size.
| Element | List price ex VAT, € | Direct, € |
|---|---|---|
| Panel, smallest size/glass type | 550 | 330 |
| Panel, largest size/glass type | 1,015 | 610 |
Same logic as the closets and kitchens: Wall System is not sold as “a bookshelf for €X” but as a specification for a specific wall — ceiling height, number of bays, back-panel type and whether lighting is included. The photos show a library and a media wall on the exact same frame — it is one system, not two different products.
Tribeca: the accessible way into the brand
If the budget does not yet stretch to a closet, a kitchen or a Savoy sofa, the Tribeca coffee tables carry the same Poliform design language at the price of a single accessory. The small TTB050 table on a brown-nickel metal base starts at €400 direct, or up to €775 with a marble top. The larger TTB123R, with an oval marble top, runs from €1,000 to €3,230 direct depending on the marble.
| Model | List price ex VAT, € | Direct, € |
|---|---|---|
| TTB050, small, wood/metal | 665–1,295 | 400–775 |
| TTB123R, large, marble | 1,670–5,385 | 1,000–3,230 |
When I’d recommend Poliform, and when I’d point at the factory next door
If the brief is one statement sofa and nothing else from this factory, I show Minotti or Flexform — that comparison is in my Brianza factories piece. Poliform wins when the job is a whole apartment: a walk-in closet, a kitchen, a wall system built around a TV and a library, a bedroom and upholstery in one aesthetic handled by one factory. That is also why Poliform has no single “price per sofa” or “price per wardrobe” — there is a pricing logic, which I’ve laid out above, and it can be applied to any room.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the Poliform Savoy sofa cost?
The 125 cm armchair starts at €2,805 direct in base fabric, and the 446 cm four-seat sofa runs from €7,940 to €13,960 depending on upholstery. Prices come from the factory’s 2026 list, ex Italian VAT, with the direct discount applied.
How is a Senzafine walk-in closet different from an off-the-shelf wardrobe?
Senzafine is a kit, not a fixed module: side panels, fronts, base and opening type (hinged, sliding, or flush-to-wall) are each priced separately, so the configuration can be matched exactly to the room — but the price is always individual, too.
How much does a Poliform Varenna Phoenix kitchen cost?
I only price it against an individual project: layout, appliances and stone type move the budget more than in any other category at this factory. Send me the kitchen plan and I’ll price it from the current list.
Can Wall System be bought in parts, for example just one section for a TV?
Yes — Wall System is modular and ordered section by section for a specific wall, from a single TV niche to a full-wall library on the same frame.
Are Poliform’s online prices really lower than the real ones?
Yes, and not only for Poliform: the Bristol sofa’s price does not include its back cushions, and a Senzafine closet’s price does not include the flush-door track. Always price the full specification, not a single element’s headline number.
